quasar is adding qng (quasar natural gas) fueling stations to our anaerobic digestion facilities to service public and private fleets, as well as small vehicles. CNG burns 60% cleaner than gasoline or diesel, is approximately 90% efficient as a transportation fuel, and costs less. Ohio can lead the way in U.S. conversion of vehicles to CNG fuel.
qng will attract business to Ohio capable of providing infrastructure and development, spur economic activity in Ohio’s existing manufacturing supply chain, create jobs less dependent on economic variables and reduce transportation costs.
There are more than 7 million natural gas vehicles in the world but only 150,000 in the U.S. We currently import 70% of our fuel from foreign nations. Developing CNG fuel infrastructure and vehicles will generate jobs, create domestic energy independence and help preserve our environment and economy.
EPA Renewable Fuels Standard 2 Program (RFS2): quasar is listed as an approved Renewable Fuel Producer under the EPA’s RFS2 Program. quasar generates renewable identification numbers (RINs) from renewable fuel sold for transportation at the Columbus anaerobic digester located at 2506 Jackson Pike.
quasar's fueling stations are open to the public.
Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday (7:00 AM - 5:00 PM) and Saturday (7:00 AM - 1:00 PM) and Closed Sunday.
