Farming may seem old fashioned, but in many places around New England, farms are on the cutting edge when it comes to renewable energy.

Soon, hundreds of homes in Massachusetts will get their electricity from cow power produced in Rutland, Massachusetts. Governor Deval Patrick was on hand Tuesday to see how it works.
